So I'll start with the immediate area stuff! My new companion is Elder Staker and he is the actual hardest working missionary I've even seen on my mission. I was supposed to be the one "killing" him (since it's his last transfer) but who knows, he may end up killing me haha He used to live in the same place I'm from and his dad used to be in the Army so we have a weird little connection there. He's crazy smart too, he's out here schooling kids on the gospel and telling me all these crazy fun facts about literally everything. We're trying to hold onto our seats for this transfer together (and the first week was LONG) but we're in it together, just the two of us here in Suseong. We also got a new district, with 16 missionaries (we combined districts with our neighboring one here in Daegu). And our new District Leader is Elder Soffe (my "little brother", Elder Fox's other trainee). And I still don't know what I'm doing as a Zone Leader but we're slowing figuring that out~
ON TO THE UPDATE:
- We spent a lot of time planning a Zone Goal for Daegu and we settled on helping our missionaries "go back to our roots". We're hoping to get everyone prepared for the new start our mission is about to face during this summer with all the old missionaries leaving and a ton of new ones coming in. So we want every to go back to the days when they were just trainees and things were super simple and based a lot off of faith. We're trying to help them do that by giving them time to ponder questions at night and get some spiritual power from the Book of Mormon~
- We met A-team's recent convert 이진산 Lee Jinsan. We're now teaching him the new member lessons with another youth from a neighboring ward. His mother wants her daughter to be baptized too so we're trying to figure out how to help with that~
- We went up to the military base right outside of Daegu for a weekly lunch with our Military Branch's Elders Quorum. I have the opportunity to spend a little more time with our Military Branch now that I'm in A-team, or just the team I guess, now that there is only one team here in Suseong~
- We met 김민식 Kim Minshik for the first time since transfers and taught him the entire Plan of Salvation. My boy Elder Staker is a baller teacher so he got all the understanding and thought it was super cool. We invited him to not just pray more specifically but also more often and it clicked with him really well. Not sure if he's ready for baptism just yet but he's super close to start talking about it seriously. His sincerity is AWESOME though, he really is trying hard to find the answers to his questions.
- We went to visit a member this week who recently got his MTC entry date pushed back because of his foot injury. So he's been stuck inside for a long time with just him and his thoughts and has gotten a little depressed and doubtful about his mission. So we swung by to say hi and check up on him. He's been studying the gospel every morning like a baller and he's found a bud who has the same MTC entry date as he does so they've been talking to each other a ton too. So that's good news. And we answered his concerns about missionary work. He's doing all good and he's preparing to be in the MTC by the end of July~
- We had SPM (Stake Presidency Meeting) with our Mission President. Not actually sure what happened in there. But our Mission President has a tough job to figure out what to do with our shrinking mission for next transfer...
- We went down to Busan for almost an entire day for ZLTM (Zone Leader Training Meeting) and MLCM (Mission Leadership Correlation Meeting?). Long day right there. We had a 전도 activity there in the middle with some lunch. Also another fun thing: Pres. Jeong commanded my hair to be cut when we arrived to match the length with my recently cut companion's hair. So I got a random, free haircut from one of the ZL's in Jeju Island. Nice memory. i can't remember much about the actual meetings.
- SATURDAY WAS SO LONG. District Meeting. Service Activity. A hot second of studying. Two runs back and forth for the house. A random run to Daiso with our Mission President (I have seen him so much this week). MCM (Missionary Correlation Meeting) with our ward mission leader. A baptism for an eight year old girl in the military branch. A Korea Busan Mission Choir Performance (so many missionaries). A reunion with one of my favorite people in Korea, 박상민 Park Sangmin (a convert from Gyeongsan). A cancelled appointment. And trying to finish moving records from our area books into our phones (we have 3 books and 15 days left..).
- ANOTHER LONG DAY ON SUNDAY. Just the classic 6 hours of church. Followed by a ward dinner and another appointment with a potential investigator.
That was the week! And it's hard to believe but there was more. We also got woken up at 2 AM this morning by our CO2 alarm. So now we can't tell if our headaches and grumpy moods are because of gas leaks or because of our exhaustion. We're in the process of finding out... And HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ELDER STAKER!!! Not sure what we're gonna do yet to celebrate it...
Thanks for reading and writing~

PICS:
1-3) We got permission to go to the Sisters (now empty) house to take out their trash. So we naturally needed to take pictures just so we could say we were in a sister missionary's house as Elders #wowsocool #wasn'tthatcool #itwasprettymessytoobytheway
1-2) New companion pics (first one on the way down to Busan, second one in the middle of our meeting shortly after my spontaneous haircut) 3) Pres. Jeong and us waiting for SPM 4) Cute baby that kept Elder Staker and I sane on Sunday
1) Abby Meza's Baptism 2) The primary kids drew a picture of Abby's baptism while it was happening 3) That time that our Mission President snatched us to help him buy some lamps at Daiso
