Just Really. Really. Busy

Sorry it's been a while! Last week was Mother's Day so I just did the call and didn't leave anytime for email at the end of the day. But quite a bit has happened since the last weekly email. I think I'll just have to go speed round style this time around. Sooo...

~SPEED ROUND~
- Elder Sayer and I got our first referral of our mission last week! Our WML gave us a business card and told us that he was a friend of a member and wanted to meet missionaries. Cool! So we called him, went to his office, got introduced to all his employees, sat down, and asked us how to get baptized... So we're going to be meeting him regularly! Couldn't meet this week but this man seems to have a strong desire to learn from us.

- We got two new investigators these last two weeks! One of them has a ton of interest and one of them doesn't have as much but is open to meeting with us and talking it all out. We've actually been able to meet a lot of new people recently and have some appointments already set up for next week with other new people! Woo~

- We made a ton of progress with one of our main investigators, Ben. He accepted listening to the lessons and this last time we meet (last week on Saturday), he came to the church and we started talking about the Plan of Salvation. He actually listened and had awesome questions, I wish I wrote them all down haha He's excited to meet with us more and it seems that the month or two of just getting comfortable with him has payed off.

- We were able to meet a lot of members this week too! A couple of dinner appointments here and there but the coolest one was when the Military Branch President invited us on base to eat lunch with him. But this man had a plan: his coworkers were there, and they were Korean! So we were able to meet them (their first time with missionaries), dazzle them with our mad Korean skills (we actually suck but people are just impressed if you know how to say hi around here), and they even asked us some questions about what we're doing and why we're here. Cool experience for President Gustaves and a good planted seed for his coworkers.

- We had this transfer's last district meeting yesterday. I have grown to love being a district leader and boy do I love my district. I'm going to be super bummed if I get transferred out next week... We made some sweet goals this transfer and we put some great effort forth to achieve them! Our mission has a standard now of receiving three contacts and giving two BoM's everyday (harder than it sounds) but we were able to get 171 contacts and 134 BoM's as a district this transfer (I had to follow-up ALL THE TIME). Every team saw a miracle everyday, which I have recorded in a journal somewhere (more follow-up). And we did morning district yoga through video call to start every day (less follow-up and more of me just calling and being the alarm clock). They're great people. They work super hard. And I have learned a ton from them.

That's gonna be about all I share because I'm losing email time and still need to shop for food this week. We had Zone P-day today and it was a ton of fun. We went to a spacious park, brought a bunch of sports equipment and just went crazy with it. A little time consuming for the travel time but worth it.

This Saturday is transfer calls!! Hoping I get to stay with Elder Sayer for another one here in Suseong B-Team. We're doing pretty well right now so it would be a bummer to get bounced. Stay tuned for next week! Love you guys~
